Do you work for VH1? GnR??? AC/DC? They`re both (classic) rock. Those before Pantera? Slayer?
I have to call both of those bands Metal but probably because they were both marketed that way during my formative years. They weren’t considered classic rock until much more recently- but you do of course have a very good point Julie 🙂
I need to get more into Slayer- just picked up most of their discography. “Reign in Blood” is certainly a classic Metal album and “Angel of Death” at least deserves to be on the shortlist of best Metal songs. Not much of a Pantera fan but I do acknowledge that they are Gods in the Metal community (which I am admittedly not a part of anymore either)
